Summary of Job The successful candidates when working as a Manager on Duty would be responsible for the operational delivery of the Sport Centre’s business, taking responsibility for delivering the highest standards of Customer Service through line management of staff. Ensuring Health and Safety legislation and quality management systems are adhered to at all times. You will also be responsible for providing fitness instruction to new and existing user groups and the promotion of membership and participation throughout SSL’s facilities, to act as an informed guide; steering the community to supportive sign posts that offer services that can allow individuals to make informed and positive lifestyle changes, while delivering high quality behavioural management interventions to encourage and support change that will improve physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Salary Range £7.58 - £9.03
Hours of Work 21.5 hours per week over 3 week rota. Various between 06.30 – 22.15Includes shift work of daytime, late and weekend working

HDAA Dementia Activities Facilitator
Summary of Job
This role aims to promote a better understanding of dementia across Hadleigh and the surrounding areas, in order to reduce social isolation, stigma and discrimination and promote independence for people living with dementia by supporting local groups and businesses to work to become a dementia friendly community.
The main purpose of the role will be to facilitate and support the creation of local inclusive social activities to allow those living with and caring for those with dementia to live well in our community. Encourage organisations to produce an action plan and sign up to the National Dementia Declaration supporting the work of the local action alliance, while working in consultation with people with dementia and their carers to inform and monitor the actions of the alliance that will steer further work.
