Customer Service Adviser

Centre: Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Station Road, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2SU

To create a great customer experience through delivering a high level of customer service with an aim to meet our vision to improve the health and wellbeing of the community
Welcoming customers in a friendly professional manner.
To run the reception desk giving an efficient customer service with the key aim of retaining existing and attracting new customers.
To collect and record fees and bookings of facilities and activities.
Answer customer queries face to face and by telephone
Distribute incoming and send outgoing post
Promote membership and facilities of the Centre
Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, scanning etc.

Salary: £7.83 an hour.

Hours of Work: Part time including evenings and weekends

Manager on Duty, Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Sudbury, Suffolk

We are looking for a highly motivated indivedual who would like a career in Leisure. The sussesfull candidate must be able to solve problems, make decisions, lead an effective team and drive company standards. 
Responsibilites to include:
• The management of day to day operational staff
• The daily operations of the centre
• One to one and team meetings
• Assisting with allocated health and safety tasks
The successful applicant must hold or be able to work towards the National Pool Lifeguard
Qualification (NPLQ) and Pool Plant Operator Certificate within three months of employment. (NPLQ is subject to a swimming ability observed assessment).
39 Hours per week to include evenings and weekends
£9.70 per hour

Manager on Duty

Centre Sudbury Sports Centre, Sudbury, Suffolk

As the Manager on Duty, you are an integral part of the team responsible for the day to day operation of your facility. The workload is varied, no day is the same, so we are looking for organised, proactive and problem-solving team player to lead the operational team.
You will have an eye for detail with first class customer service skills and the confidence to communicate with people from all walks of life. You will be able to adhere to the Health & Safety procedures ensuring the comfort and safety of your customers and colleagues.
You will required to complete some administration tasks and reach deadlines to support your Centre Manager with a variety of projects. 

You ideally will hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification
Your continuous professional development is as important to us as it is to you and we provide access to a variety of courses and qualifications. 
You will need to be a minimum of 18 years old and hold previous experience of working in a role of responsibility, ideally in leisure.

Responsibilites to include: • The management of all operational staff • Quality management systems • Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained in all departments • Acting as key holder responsible for locking and unlocking the site • Adhering to Health & Safety requirements • Assist in administrative duties • Dealing with customer comments, complaints and queries • Set ups and take downs for sport activities • To work with the centre manager to achieve high standards of the centre • Level 2 Gym Instructor qualified

Salary: £8.62 per hour

Hours Of Work: Varying on a casual basis will include evening and weekends.
